This award recognises her as a healthcare professional who is aligned with the IMS’s mission to promote and support access to best practice health care for women through their menopause transition and post-reproductive years, enabling them to achieve optimal health and well-being.

Dr Stacey Ler is a dual-scholarship recipient and a local Gold Coast graduate from Griffith University with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Bachelor of Medical Science (BMedSci) degrees. She was the first student in Queensland to have obtained guaranteed entry for her medical studies through the Griffith Connect Guaranteed Admission Scheme.
